EL SHADDAI is one of the covenant names through which God the Father, creator of heaven and earth revealed Himself to Israel. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

In Hebrew, EL SHADDAI means “Tho God who is more than enough.” “The Most Sufficient One.” “The Breasted One.” Jerusalem Bible translated EL SHADDAI as the “Almighty God” (Genesis 17:1;35:11).
